API and Integration: Room Matching Stefanini Kickoff 2025

The solution came from the need to give event users — professionals from different categories — a practical tool to find colleagues to share accommodation with, respecting security and privacy criteria and the event's specific logic.

The project was custom-built, using API and Integration resources that made it possible to:

Integrated access via the Yazo app: Participants reached the platform straight from the app, with no new login, thanks to URLs parameterized with CPF or email, ensuring secure authentication and automatic identification of the user's category.

When someone was invited, both the user and the guest were temporarily removed from the available list, blocking multiple simultaneous invitations.

The guest received a notification by email and on the platform to accept or decline.

If the invitation was accepted, both saw the confirmation on their next access. If it was declined, they automatically returned to the available list and could start the process again.

The user could also cancel the invitation at any time to invite someone else.

Multilingual interface: The system automatically detected the user's browser language (Portuguese, Spanish or English) and loaded the right version of the platform, ensuring an inclusive experience for every audience at the event.

Dynamic list of available users: Each participant only saw people from the same professional category to invite as a roommate, avoiding inappropriate invitations and protecting privacy. Automated communications, sent by email and on the platform, in three languages, ensuring clarity in every interaction (invitation sent, accepted, declined or removed).

Manually pair users from different categories, in the exceptional cases allowed by the event organizers.

Manage special cases, such as participants traveling alone who should not appear in the match list.
