About the project

Complete Registration, Evaluation and Voting Platform - Lorenzetti 100 Years University Challenge

To celebrate the brand's centenary, Lorenzetti launched the Lorenzetti 100 Years University Challenge: a national competition that invited Architecture and Urban Planning and Interior Design students from Grupo Ânima universities to rethink affordable bathrooms using the brand's products — with a real commitment to turn the winning projects into actual renovations, in partnership with Vivenda.

Challenge highlights:
• Audience: groups of 2 to 3 students, from any Grupo Ânima university in Brazil.
• Scale: over 250 groups and 600 students registered.
• Jury: Grupo Ânima professors, Vivenda's technical team and a committee of 7 industry professionals (architects and business owners).
• Popular vote: 11,181 votes in the final stage, added to the technical jury's score.
• Awards: R$ 6,000 for 1st place, R$ 4,000 for 2nd and 3rd, and R$ 3,000 for 4th and 5th — split among each group's members.
• Impact: the 5 winning projects became real renovations carried out by Vivenda, addressing part of the housing deficit affecting more than 25 million Brazilian households.

Notiva built, from scratch, the entire digital journey that supported the challenge's 6 phases — from registration opening to the announcement of the winners:
1. Group registration (September 6 to 20)
2. Guidebook release and project development (September 22 to October 22)
3. Semifinalists defined — 80 projects (October 23 to November 5)
4. Finalists defined — 20 projects (November 6 to 19)
5. Popular vote + technical jury (November 20 to 26)
6. Winners announced (November 29)

Challenge

Lorenzetti wanted to mark its centenary with an initiative that went beyond institutional communication: a national challenge that would engage university students of architecture, design and engineering to create real residential renovation solutions using products from the brand — with the commitment to transform the winning projects into real renovations, in partnership with Vivenda, benefiting Brazilian families.

To make this possible on a national scale, a single digital system was needed to handle the entire challenge cycle: registration of groups with validation of academic data and documents, centralized communication and regulation, secure submission of projects, technical evaluation by predefined criteria, documentary approval of finalists and a final vote that combined invited committee and popular vote without allowing fraud.

Solution

Notiva developed the complete platform of the Lorenzetti 100 Years University Challenge, covering each stage of the participants' and organization's journey:

Registration of groups — registration of a pair of participants with personal data, CPF, RA and educational institution, validation of a guardian in case of a minor and acceptance of the regulation.

Logged-in area of the challenge — exclusive login by group, with access to the challenge booklet, Lorenzetti product list, technical presentation and delivery time.

Project submission — controlled upload of the file (PDF, up to 3 sheets and 20MB), released only during the submission window.

Approval of semi-finalists — upload of supporting documents of each member (CPF, RG, proof of residence, enrollment and authorization, when underage) within a period of 72 hours.

Evaluation panel — exclusive environment for the technical staff to evaluate each project by criteria (health, sustainability, aesthetic coherence, adherence to the premises of the booklet and use of Lorenzetti products), maintaining the anonymity of competitors.

Staged communication — emails and notices on the platform itself at each stage, up to the list of finalists.

Final vote — access of the invited committee to the guidelines and voting on the projects, combined with a popular vote with a single vote by CPF, defining the winners by sum of criteria.

Result

The platform safely supported the entire challenge cycle, from the enrollment of student pairs to the final assessment, without compromising the integrity of the evaluation and voting process.

The winning projects, chosen by the committee and the public, were transformed into real renovations by Vivenda, technical partner of the challenge, helping to change the lives of up to 100 Brazilian families — uniting the celebration of 100 years of Lorenzetti with a concrete social impact.
