Book Search — Bienal do Livro 2024 App

Challenge

List every book from every publisher present at the Bienal, categorizing them (author, subject, publisher) and showing where the book was at the event (which booth the publisher had).
The mission was to show participants where the book they wanted was, inside the event.

Book Search API Bienal do Livro de São Paulo App

Yazo, together with the event agency RX Global and Metabooks (the world's largest online book library and metadata source), commissioned us to develop the official search for the Bienal do Livro de São Paulo 2024 App. Our mission was: Develop the API for real-time queries to the Metabooks book database. Show only books from exhibitors and publishers taking part in the Bienal. Filter searches by publisher, title, author and ISBN (the Metabooks code). Help users find the book they were looking for by showing the publisher's location at the event. During the period the search was available in the App we had a total of: 296,724 visits 34,962 users Average engagement time of 22s per user
